Yorkshire Museum Image reference: YORM_TA209
Subject
Photographs from St Vincent after the 1902 eruption of La Soufriére volcano.
Description
View of ruined plantation building in unknown location; roof missing. Mill/machine wheel visible. Appears that vegetation has taken over the site. Date not provided, but given it's location in the collection and degree of vegetation growth, this is likely to be 1907 or later (vegetation on hill slopes is quite extensive). Chimney structure still standing. Two unknown individuals are standing in the foreground.
Similarity with item #338 suggests this may be Richmond Works in 1907.
